In this 2 hour masterclass we’ll explore the energetics of the heart, unravel tension in the spine and build strength with alignment and awareness to create a safe and expansive backbend. You’ll learn how to deepen your backbend with targeted core strength, hip opening and spinal work. All levels are welcome, whether you’re a bridge with a block or a full wheel kind of yogi we will break back bending down from the floor up as well as exploring more advanced transitions like dropbacks and deeper backbends like kapotasana.
This workshop is suitable for beginners to advanced practitioners. There will be something for everyone.
