We get it.. Winter has been long and arduous. You’ve overindulged in Netflix and probably had a little too much comfort food. But never fear, Tys and Em are here and we’ve put together a wellness weekend away to press the ‘reset’ button and kick start some new healthy habits. Full of all things yoga, surfing, meditation, exercise, healthy food and chill time this long weekend retreat will kick start your summer and leave you feeling inspired to continue your new healthy habits into the rest of the year.
Join us for 3 nights on the beautiful surf coast of Victoria in Jan Juc for a wellness retreat with all the trimmings.
You’ll practice yoga, you’ll exercise, you’ll learn to meditate, you’ll surf, you’ll eat good food and most of all you’ll have fun!
What your weekend will look like:
Arrive and settle in to your beautiful beach house accommodation. We’ll kick off with a grounding yoga practice and settle into an introduction talk on meditation and dive into the first session of our meditation course where you’ll learn the being technique. Afterwards dinner will be served and a chance to get to know the other peeps on the retreat.
Kick off your morning with a yoga flow to energise you into the day ahead. Following your practice an optional surf session is on the menu or a beach walk.
Arrive back at the house and brunch whilst swapping stories of your morning waves and walks.
Let your food digest whilst you chill by the pool, get a massage, take an ocean stroll or indulge in a nap.
We’ll meet in the afternoon for a HIIT session designed to get your heart rate up, your blood pumping and a good sweat on ready for a dip in the pool... After all the hard work settle into a restorative yin practice followed by day 2 of your learn to meditate course. Float from the yoga shala to dinner.
Close out the day with some journaling, chatting or simply do your own thing
Kick off the morning with a yoga flow to energise you into the day ahead. Following your practice an optional surf session to feel how open the body is after your nice juicy yoga flow, taking the flow into the waves and enjoying what the ocean has to offer in or out… if surfing isn’t your jam.
Whilst your beaching, brunch will be prepared and ready for your return...
Let your food digest whilst you chill by the pool, like saturday indulge in a massage, take an ocean stroll or simply explore the local surf coast area.
We’ll meet in the afternoon for a HIIT session designed to get your heart rate up and your blood pumping, a little different to Saturday’s to keep the body and mind guessing what’s in store. After all the hard work settle into a restorative yin practice followed by day 3 of your learn to meditate course, after day 3 you’ll have the tools to implement the being technique into your daily life.
Dinner is served after which you’re free to do what you like.
Kick off the morning with a yoga flow to energise you into the day ahead (if you’re partial for those sunrise surf sessions you’re welcome to get your flow in the waves).
Following your practice an optional surf session or a beach workout. Arrive back at the house for our final brunch together before packing your new healthy habits with you and journeying home, or staying a little longer to enjoy the beach.
Space is limited to 8 guests to insure a personalised experience on your retreat.

Wetsuit hire $25 all day

We require a $500 non-refundable deposit to secure your spot. Full payment is due 3 weeks before the retreat start date.

Emma Maidment, Yoga + Meditation
Emma Maidment is an international yoga and meditation teacher, writer and speaker. Emma is committed to sharing ways to live an authentic and connected life. As a passionate community creator, intuitive facilitator and transformative speaker, Emma helps you to connect back to yourself so that you are able to live an empowered, aligned life. Emma believes that meditation and yoga are the most powerful tools you can have in your daily practice kit to help you feel more connected, less stressed and in-tune to your flow state. She teaches from a place of direct experience and is living proof of the impact yoga and mediation can have on your life. Emma has dedicated over 13 years to studying the ancient art of yoga and mediation under many influential teachers. Emma is also a lululemon ambassador. Tyson Venables Yoga + Fitness
Tyson Venables is a health and fitness professional, qualified PT, yoga teacher and co-founder of Lad Labs. Having worked in wellness for over 10 years Tyson has a wealth of knowledge about the human body and how to help each individual reach their highest potential. Tyson’s approach to movement is holistic and takes into consideration each individuals needs. He works closely with his clients and students to determine the best programs necessary to help them reach their goals and create healthy sustainable lifestyles.
